DEFINITELY Fly Over America!
I am not big on "Attractions" but I really loved this virtual "time out". And, while riding with feet dangling, I couldn't help but think of friends and relatives who would love it too. It is short (10 minutes), but leaves a lasting impression of the beauty we are so lucky to live in the middle of. There are special effects of wind (flying with a crop duster or among the Blue Angels), scents, and mist (when you appear to be riding a wave, or going over Niagara Falls).
FlyOver America just added a second show highlighting the majesty of Canada, and both shows alternate throughout the day. See both!! You are seat-belted in and have to store purses and loose items as the bank of seats does move and tip from side to side, but gently. The flooring drops away for you to be surrounded by the virtual "ride". Children must be 40" tall to ride - I wouldn't take small children, as the mechanics of the startup and finish are in the pitch dark, and scary. By the time a small child recovers from that, the ride and enjoyment would be over. The feeling of the ride is much like the Omnimax as it skims over the landscape, but you are much closer to the action - not for folks with motion-sickness! But for the rest of us, it was really fab - something I would return to, and take visitors to, and tell you to go!!! It is a mini virtual vacation, with the wind in your hair! Don't even wait for a rainy day! Watch the Trailer...
