Please Send Hugs!
Ideally, we would want to be the ones getting this kind of mail - you could always ask! But one day, we sent hugs to Grandma Jean and Grandpa Rick, who didn’t live close by. Nothing fancy - poster paint on the back of wrapping paper (a brown kraft paper roll would work too). When the paint dried, I cut them out and folded them (arms in) into a 9x12 envelope.
Forward this post link to request a hug from your Grands! Or get down on the floor and have someone trace you to send! Be sure to fold the arms in just like a hug. A hug in the mail is a Grand surprise!
Grace tried to make hers with a sticking-out tongue. And tried to persuade Jack to do the same. “Nope,” he said, “I want to look handsome.”
