You’ll be a superhero if you take the kids here, and smarter still if you go on a weekday. You also need a budget number for the kiddos (seriously, there are more than 3,000 kinds of candy), and cash or check, as they don’t take cards ($3 ATM fee). This is super fun for you, too – lots of goodies to tuck in gift baskets, treats you forgot about, treats you never knew existed, and an on-site, still-warm bakery (Grandpa is the 88-yr-old baker!). I love stocking up on fun-shaped pastas. A crazy amount of sodas! And the kids love all the superheroes and dioramas - it will take you a while to get through it (especially while negotiating that budget).
